La Maison Saint-Joseph is hosting an art residency, msj

Writing Residency with Naoile Ji
The writing residency is open to all authors and creators who wish to advance their scriptwriting projects (TV, cinema), their literary projects (novels, graphic novels) or their musical album projects in the rewriting phase, regardless of what stage they are at. In a peaceful and inspiring setting, various spaces are available to foster creation and establish bridges for discussion and sharing about each person's projects: workshop, garden, library, living room, exhibition room, and kitchen. Drawing, painting, cooking, pottery, walks in the forest or in the historic center of Crépy-en-Valois are also possible complementary activities to help inspire or simply recharge. Key moments of collective writing are organized within the program to facilitate rewriting through reading committees. Other exercises will also be planned to allow for positive digression. Individual writing sessions are sacred and predominant in the program, and Maison Saint Joseph offers a multitude of spaces to write in peace and serenity according to each person's needs.

Song Workshop with Joséphine
What if we played with time? With Joséphine, explore it through writing, voice, and music. From 10am to 5pm, a workshop to knead time in all its forms: long, cyclical, suspended... Then from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, an open stage to share your texts, poems, songs, or improvisations, accompanied by Joséphine's sound creations. A collective moment to give body to time differently.
The day will unfold in two stages: from 10am to 5pm, five exercise sessions around writing on the theme of time, with a lunch break. From 6:30pm to 8:30pm, an open stage where it will be possible to share texts created that same day, together or alone, with music or in silence. Joséphine will also offer sound creations made from sound materials recorded during the day to accompany your texts. The open stage will be accessible to people who did not participate in the workshop, and you can also share poems, songs, sketches, or anything else you would like to put to voice or instrument.

Open stage with Joséphine !
From 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Joséphine invites you to an open stage around time. Texts, poems, songs, music, or improvisations: everyone is free to share. Sound creations made by Joséphine from sounds recorded during the day will accompany voices and instruments. A convivial and creative moment, open to all, whether or not you participated in the workshop.
